Laurie
Rippon
Executive Director
Laurie has owned One Broadway since 2004, but she has a
deep connection to the studio, dance and the arts in
general. Growing up in Hershey, the former Laurie
Longenecker was friends with Wendy Watson, whose mother,
Nancy, founded One Broadway. Laurie remembers dancing and
cheering in
the Watsons’ basement.
She was the volunteer coordinator of the Hershey youth
cheerleading program, also serving as head coach and choreographer for the
midget squad. She has judged area
high school cheering
competitions and cheerleader tryouts.
Both of her daughters have danced at One Broadway for
years. Prior to buying One Broadway, Laurie was a “dance
mom” who volunteered at the studio for nine years and
worked backstage during Tappin’. As Executive Director,
Laurie enjoys being the creative force behind the scenes
of One Broadway.
